Room to feel like themselves.
The idea that started our rescue still guides us: care should make room for each cat’s personality.
Choice is part of comfort
The original Nine Lives approach gave cats places to climb, rest, play, and step away from attention. The sanctuary carries that commitment forward: a cat should have room to retreat and care suited to their needs.
Get to know the individual
Some cats seek company. Others need a quieter setting and a patient introduction. Time spent caring for a cat helps the team understand their preferences and consider whether a foster home, adoption, or permanent residency fits best.
Care sets the pace
Our sanctuary is being developed around dedicated care areas, recovery, and safe routines. Access is coordinated with the team so that the cats’ needs guide the day. You can support that work by fostering, volunteering, sponsoring a resident, or helping with everyday essentials.
